Tourism In Yogyakarta has the relation with so many people from around the world pick Yogyakarta as their tourist destination, so do with Paula (23) and Elena (26) from Holland. This is the first trip for Paula nad the second trip to Yogyakarta. Paula is still a colleger, she has ben studies at Utrecht Univesity, and Elena is a florist designer.
“I love being here, Jogja is a great place. I like the weather so much, it's not so cold here" Paula said.
They have been here for 5 days, but they plan stay in Jogja litle bit longer because the want to see the inauguration of Jogja’s leader. They postponed their schedule to Bali just to see the celebration of Jagja's people.
"I really want to see the ceremony, i believe there will be a lot of
traditional culture permomance for the ceremonies at the ceremony" Elena
added.
Paula and Elena still don t have plan what will they do for the next
two days because they have visited so many places in fogja. They actualy
plan to leave Jogja in Friday to go to Bali, but they decided to stay

Eventough they realy like Jogja, Paula admited that

The cause of earthquakes
The cause of earthquakes can we learn from the concept that the Earth that we walk on is alayer called the crust. Earth's crust is hard, brittle and easily broken and the "floating" above the rocks are relatively rigid do not often referred to coat. Earth's crust is also broken into10 pieces that we call fractional plates that have been discussed in chapter one, and eachmove. There is that move away from each other, there is that move toward each other so that it can occur any collisions between moving plates and each shift. generally very slow movement of the plates is only few centimeters within 1 year. However, if the movement is jammed and interlocked resulting in the collection of energy that takes placeon an ongoing basis until such time as these rocks are not able to resist this impulse, there will be a release of energy suddenly we call earthquakes.
Based on the causes, earthquakes can be divided into four main causes, namely the collapse of the caves in the earth, man-made earthquake, volcanic eruption, and tectonic activity.
A. Volcanic eruptions (Volcanic Earthquake)
At the time the volcano erupted causing earthquakes often called a volcanic earthquake. There are 3 causes of volcanic earthquakes. First, there is contiguity between the walls ofvolcanic magma. Second, the gas pressure when the mountain erupted. Third, due to thesudden movement of magma in the magma chamber. Volcanic earthquakes have a very weak force, that vibrations are usually only felt in the area around the volcano only. However, although small tremors continue to watch given the presence of volcanic earthquakes is usually a sign of the eruption of a volcano. And some of the volcanic eruption there that potentially carry considerable damage especially ifaccompanied by a hot cloud. There are several volcanoes that have the nature of thatexplosive eruption or the eruption of a very powerful, but there are only issued a volcano erupting molten lava.2. The collapse of Limestone Caves / Regional Mine (rubble earthquake)
When the science of earthquakes has not been developed, experts expect the past earthquake caused the collapse of the giant caves found in the earth. It turned out afterfurther investigation, the allegations were completely untrue because of the collapse as itdid not exist. If only the collapse, it only happens in the subterranean (under ground),limestone quarrying and the like. However, the fall was only able to cause vibration of the earth that very small and is local (local).3. Artificial earthquake
There is a human activity that can cause earthquakes, such as nuclear testing, that cancause vibration waves of earthquakes, earthquake waves may spread in the earth, so it can be recorded by a seismograph. It is currently banned from nuclear testing to be done, somecountries still trying to underground nuclear testing, it became established an international agency to monitor underground nuclear test called the CTBTO (Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Bantraty Organization) that has stations scattered around the world.4. Tectonic earthquake
Tectonic earthquake caused a shift in the tectonic plates in the crust layer. It then producesa shift in the tectonic style is then pushed, resulting in the weakest part will break. Thisevent came to be called by the earthquake. The meeting also led to the formation of plateis a row of mountains throughout the meeting, and at the plate can also arise fragments of rock (faults) as a result of the pull and pressure of plate movement-lempengbatuanconstituent of the earth's crust. Nearly 90% of earthquakes caused by tectonic plateactivity. Process events and track the centers of tectonic earthquakes around the world can be explained by a theory of the Science Review of Earth (Geology) called Tectonic Plates (Plate Tectonic). The Definition of Earthquake
An earthquake is a sudden shift of the soil layers below the surface of the earth. When this shift occurs, then the arising vibrations called seismic waves. This wave propagates in all directions away from the epicenter, but some can only be recorded on the seismograph, and some are up to the surface of the earth and felt by humans. Vibrations that reach theearth's surface can be damaging and very dependent on the power source of the earthquake, the depth of the soil surface and not less important is the quality of the buildingis crossed by seismic waves. If the quality is very fragile building would easily collapse and cause casualties.
According to Howel (1969) earthquake is the vibration of the earth's crust that is not eternal, and then spread in all directions. These vibrations actually vibrate continuously with therelative strength is so small that can only be detected by the tool. Vibration can not beregarded as an earthquake when the nature of continuous vibration. So an earthquake must have a start time and end time that obvious.
Earthquakes are one of the most mysterious of natural disasters to mankind. This can happen suddenly, at any time. In contrast to the eruption of the volcano, that is alwayspreceded by the signs that may predict, an earthquake occurs suddenly, no more than a fewseconds it happened, that large earthquake could demolish the buildings. Consequently, when an earthquake occurs that there is just panic and anxiety without knowing what to do.
Prior to developing the science as now, the ancients had various ideas about the causes ofearthquakes. The Mongols, for example, they believe the earth is complete after created,God then put it in the back of a huge toad. So when the frog moves the earth shook. In contrast to this view, Aristotles states that the earthquake occurred due to air trapped in the bowels of the earth to get out. When the air it can really come out, the earth belched thatthen causes an earthquake.
In Japan, people think in the earth there is a giant catfish that resides there. If this catfish wiggling / shaking it will be an earthquake, is characterized by the natural phenomenon ofcatfish sticking out of the water before the earthquake.
At present, after the science develops, especially since the invention of a device fordetecting vibration of the earth that commonly called a seismograph, the occurrence of an earthquake quake seen as unusual natural phenomena. Through the seismograph from the beginning of the 20th century have analyzed the composition of the earth. The experts alsocan map pathways earthquake spread across the world and its properties. So we should be able to design buildings that match the characteristics of the earthquake in which welive. To note that the attitudes and actions of how an earthquake is very important.
