Warning! Only remove the headset battery when you intend to recycle the headset at product end of life. Removing the battery from the headset will render the headset inoperable. The headset uses a lithium ion battery. If the battery no longer holds a charge, please remove and dispose it by following these instructions. Consult local laws and regulations for proper battery disposal in your area. If there are no local regulations concerning battery disposal, please dispose of the headset in a waste bin designated for electronic devices. Warning! Lithium ion batteries, like the one used in the headset, may present a risk of fire, explosion, or chemical burn if mistreated. The headset battery should not be exposed to fire or heat above 54° C or 130° F. Do not use or charge the battery if it appears to be leaking, discolored, deformed, or in any way abnormal. Do not leave the battery discharged or unused for extended periods of time. When batteries are misused, they may explode or leak, causing burns and personal injury. If the battery leaks, jse normal precautions and discard it immediatelv. * Caution: Use safety glasses when removing the headset battery. Battery disposal 1. Remove the foam cover on the left ear cup (the side without the microphone). 2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two bottom screws, which are set into holes in the left ear cup. Use the holes to guide the screwdriver. 3. Tilt the left ear cup down and remove the two screws at the top of the left ear cup. 4. Remove the ear cup and battery cover. 5. Disconnect the 3-pin battery connector from the ear cup. (Do not pull on the wires.) 6. Remove the battery. 7. Dispose of the old battery according to local battery disposal laws in your area.
